Sport was always the spine of my life. Early days it was swimming and tennis — early mornings, squad training twice a day, six days a week. Tennis was the distraction I needed from the black line at the bottom of the pool. But as I got older, the fire faded. I still loved the water, I'd just lost the why.
Triathlon brought it back — and with it, cycling and running. Here's the honest part: I never felt built to run. Six-foot-four, made for the pool, moving like a cart horse on the road. What changed everything was a coach — someone who'd raced triathlon at world-championship level, on and off road. His motto was simple: slow and steady. Improve your running age, and everything else follows. Six months later, I was in love.
Running has never just been a challenge. It's been my motivator, my psychologist, my counsellor, my coach. Wherever I travel, wherever I work, it comes with me. It's how I feel free. These days it's 50-plus kilometres a week — the thing that keeps me focused and ready for whatever life throws.
Professionally, I spent years in fashion retail and got where I wanted to be. I always loved the craft of brands. But it never quite reached my core: sport. Too much time away, too far from the thing I actually loved.
PB-3 is where those two worlds finally meet. Premium, comfortable, made for runners like me — not fast fashion for everyone.
But it was never meant to be just clothing. PB-3 is a place to belong — to review the gear, catch new releases first, find training plans and schedules, discover trails, tracks and new routes, or just ask a question and get an answer from people who run. A community around a movement. That's the whole idea.
